it’s a pity that there are only 6 episodes of 30 minutes each
Chronology
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack from greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a scheme to get revenge and shake up the industry: a warehouse in Quebec; five people were sentenced to prison. This series reminded me of the series “Fargo”, which I really liked… in my opinion, it deserves a high score of 8, as it aroused my interest… .
90% of it comes from Quebec
. . Margot Martindale is great as always…love all her roles. I didn’t know that Canada produces more than 70% of the world’s maple syrup…
The supporting actors are also amazing
I remember a story that happened 10-12 years ago, about the theft of maple syrup in Quebec… for millions of dollars, so I had to watch it. the story has a French/Quebec flavor (syrup analogy, haha). The music is interesting because all these familiar hits are tastefully recreated in French by beautiful voices.
I highly recommend it
Landscapes in the style of the Quebec countryside give the story even more realism. The plot is a drama, but with elements of elegant comedy. Jamie Lee really completes the character and it was great to see her on screen again. It’s not as long-winded as many others, so it’s a nice variety…
definitely watch it
“One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the most high-profile premieres on television and streaming this month. See our calendar for December for details!
